This page, is a constant list, of all things, that get asked to me, on a daily basis. Instead of answering them all the time, I simply decided to put it all, in the form of an FAQ. This will cut down, on questions, that get answered, like no tomorrow.

(As a size note. I'm not responsible, for how pissed off you get, from the response that you see in my FAQ. I couldn't care any less, than what I already do, in terms of how I answer them. Though, you are more than welcome to send any threats you have to me, on what you don't like in my FAQ. You, have been fairly warned.
General FAQ (The Daily Stuff)
Q: What is your real name?
A: That's not much of your concern. If you're not my closest friend, then, as I say it. "It's strictly confediental".

Q: Are you a furry?
A: Yes. I am a furry. It's plainly obvious, from my avatar, at the links to the above forums.

Q: Do you indulge into the furry fandom? And, if so, what are your thoughts about it? Considering that you are one?
A: No. I do not truly indulge into the fandom. This means I do not go to Furry Cons. I do not dress as one. One does not have to dress as one, or act as one, to be one. I'm more of the tame type. But, one of the few, who actually is a frequent gamer, and into M.U.G.E.N as well. I'm not afraid to say that I am furry. Though, I'll kick some ass, any day of the week.

Q: I noticed that your story telling skills, reminds me of someone doing a "Role Play" or RP as they call it. Did you ever do so in the past? both human & furry?
A: Yes. I have RP'd many times in the past. This was from my love of reading adventure books,a nd what not. The wonders of the imagination, fully coming into play. My RP skills, in both tame human, and tame furry, non-sexual & non-yiffy RP's that I've done, over the years, as you can see, is the origin of my story telling skills, in my videos now. There are many, who don't like to RP all the time. I simply show, that RP'ing can be used in many ways, and many forms. Even, go as far as take it to my videos. Besides, you have to be indulged into the depth of the characters you use, if you want one to go right. This applies for M.U.G.E.N Fanfic Videos as well.

Q: Why are your videos different from everyone else? It's not with flashy effects, or any other stuff???
A: That is very simple. I'm a simple person, with only simple needs. My only passion in life, is to give others, what they never had. Real entertainment. That, and my wild & vivid imagination speaks for itself.

Q: Why are your videos that good?
A: Because I'm more of a bad ass. And prefer to stay that way.

Q: Have you ever thought of changing your style often?
A: This is one question, that I think about the most. And, it also gets asked to me the most. It's not that I don't want to change what I have. It's because everyone has their own set style. And, they feel the ost comfortable with it. It's much like a favorite food or drink. You find something you like, and you either stick with it, or move on. It's that simple.

Q: When will you release the next installment of your Team DV Series, or City Lights series? It's been too damn long, and I at least want to see more than just words from you.
A:This is another question that gets asked to me, on multiple occasions. And I've grown tired of the pestering. So, I'll simply say it here, so the message will become clear. I, DarkValentine, release any of the videos I do, for either series. on a Time Release Basis. This means, that I will release a video, under the said condition, that I have nothing else to do, or not helping out someone else with something. Asking me....I take that back......bugging the fuck out of me, repeatedly, about "when is either series coming out, with another ep", will not make it come out faster. I do have a life outside of video making. Such as pay rent, pay bills, work, etc...... In short, I do live on my own. So, It's not like it use to be for me, when I first got started. So, in short. "When you see the video on my YT channel, then that means it's released".

Q: When are you going to take MUGEN Creation to the next step, and make a character? I'm tired of waiting....
A: The answer is simple. I will make acharacter, when I 1. Have the time to sit down, and learn the coding. and 2. When I actually feel like sitting down, to take the time, to learn the said coding. The shit is harder than it looks. For those of you who want one now. Well....thats why the stuff to make one, is in the docs folder of mugen. Though, it pains me to see, that none of you actually "Read" anymore these days...

Q: Well, I got the idea of making something, but I don't quite understand this & that. Can you elaborate for me?
A: Sure I can. That is, if you come to me, in a nice & kind manner. You can contact me, in any of the above parts, at the start of this FAQ Section. Just don't come at me, like you've tried everything. Because if you say you did try everything. Then, it only tells me, that you looked at one of my tutorials, and it didn't work for you. At that point, I will refuse to help you. (AKA, you're on your own)

Q: I want you to look at my story, and tell me what you think. You think it may be good for a video?
A: Sure I can. Just as long as you're serious about it. Yes, many have learned from me. And even adopted the styles that I use, in my own vids. But, there are still those, who want to open up a new world of imagination, like I have. So, if you want me to, I'll do it. But, that's only given, if what you have, does not consist of "rofl, lol, omgwtfbbq", and other forms of broken language, that will turn a brown eye, on your video. If you refrain from using this, as least as possible, and be serious with your story, then you can make it.

Q: Can you at least assist with my story?
A: Only if I have the time. I can't do it all. I'm not superman.

Q: I see you make music on Newgrounds also. Will you do a game related track again?
A: Only when I think of it. I' not as good as I once was.

Q: Will you make me a stage, just for me? pweease?
A: Unless the stage is going to be something decent, and you actually assist in finding the required parts for one. Then, the answer is No. I would have to be pretty damn interested, in making a stage for you. However, if you don't feel like waiting. Then that's why I made the tutorials. So you can DIY (Do It Yourself)

Q: I want to request lvl99 God Akuma/Gouki from you, can I have it/do you play with them? And I like teh cheapo's, better than the original. Can you pass them my way?
A: I'll simply put the following, as it's self explanatory. Answer to the above Question: I use characters that don't have a cheap factor, that everyone else seems to like. You see, there is one thing I've learned, while using mugen, for 2 and a half years now. You literally can make the character, the way you want, given you know the coding. This is both good and bad. It's good, because it allows you to make the dream character, you always wanted. However, this is also bad, because that said dream character, depending on how you made it, can be criticized badly, if one deems him too cheap to beat, or has moves that can't be blocked, or OHKO action (One Hit Knock Out), and a number of other things.
I tend to use characters that have a balance of many attributes, but not tilt into the cheap factor. In short, I like normal characters, by creators who try to make them as actual characters, and not be created for those, who like to see insane moves, done on wimpy characters. This is the one thing that sickens me, about the mugen community of now. Compared to 2 years ago, it's gone south, and stupid. Which is why I tend to not use characters, made by creators, who like the insane moves. Unless I'm doing it for testing purposes, and other things, like seeing what one can do. This also includes characters that have "Boss Level A.I.". And by this, i mean characters, who are designed to be bosses. Or, were bosses in their original game counterparts. Some ppl, actually overuse this, on characters, that shouldn't be bosses, and this takes the fun out of it.
Some characters, however, can actually keep their boss modes. But, this highly depends solely on the creator. One such creator, who has his character with a Boss mode switch, is Elphizo. His Rugal, has boss mode, but it can be activated at any given time, in any round. But, at a cost. He is made like his KoF 98 Counterpart. That means, for him to go into boss mode, it requires a said amount of life, from the lifebar, to activate it. This stems down the cheap effect, because it goes by the rule of this old saying.
"To gain something of great value, that may help you overcome a difficult trial. One must sacrifice what they consider precious, to obtain what they desire. However, what they desire, may not bring good fortune, to the minds of the weak".
It's an old saying, but that saying was applied to Elphizo's Rugal. And he's one of the only Boss characters I'd actually play with. Hopefully, you get the idea of what I'm saying out of all this. As to who I like to play with. In terms of type of characters.

Q: Heard you were good online. Can I play you?
A: Probably by the time you read this, my net may be up and going. And by then, I'll play you on Kawaks. As for the Wii & 360...That will wait.

Q: Your stages are so-called "Open Source". Does that mean I could do what I want to the stage?
A: Yes. I don't really care what you do to it. But, if you plan on using the coding in the stage. And you make your own stage. And you want to release it. You notify me, that you are releasing what you modified, or created, from the coding. Makes me feel much better.

Q: Random question here for you DV, have you ever "slayed" a woman, and what was it like? you're 24, so I know you did it many times.
A: This question, although personal, has been asked to me on a few occasions. So, I was only honest in my response. Yes, I have. They were satisfied with a traditional person. and that's all you need to know.

Q: In some of your videos, mainly your blog video, I think I heard you mention that you were of both Black & White races. Is this true?
A: Yes. This is indeed true. Regardless of what anyone else says. Race plays no part, in the art of love. My mother was white, and my father was black. Hence why I take up more of my mother, than my father. Though i'm more like my father, when pissed. So, I refrain from ever getting pissed.

Q: Can I appear as a cameo in your Team DV Series?
A: Depends on how I'm feeling on that. It's hard enough to keep an ep going, with just all that is there currently.

Q: Where do you see yourself 5 to 10 years from now?
A: Living my life, as care free as Sonic the Hedgehog. Time never waited for him, so it doesn't wait for me either. I do things as I see fit, and live it the way I want to. No questions asked.

Q: Heard you were originally from New Orleans. I heard all ppl were bad down there. How did that affect you?
A: I'm living proof, that someone, from the ghetto, could make it. I don't exactly have to live like a thug, and be like one, to show that I am one. I never was one. I was just a guy, who went to school, stayed out of trouble. Played sports, and played video games. As I said. A simple life, for a simple person.

Q: One last question, before I wrap it up. If there was a fine girl, right here, right now, would you hit that?
A: Depends. I'm not gay, or anything, but it totally depends. You see, not all girls, like those who would hit it on the spot. You need to stop watching & acting out what you see on television. And learn to see reality for what it is. A slap int he face, and kick to the nuts. You earn your keep, the same way you win a girls heart. By working for it honestly. And That's the way that ball rolls.
